South Korea has become a popular stop for Black travelers and expats, but what does everyday life there actually look like? A recent street-interview video is answering that question directly.
Creator Mojiverse hit the streets of Seoul in 2025 to ask Black residents and travelers about their experiences with dating, discrimination and daily life in Korea. The answers are honest and mixed, giving a fuller picture than the highlight-reel version of expat life that usually shows up online.
It’s a useful watch for anyone considering the move, and another look at how Black Americans are navigating life across Asia right now.
